“Deutsches und österreichisches Essen” was the topic of Katharina’s last cultural hour for this semester. She had put together a set of fun games dealing with food and recipes. Highlights were the “put on your gloves and hat and cut the chocolate” and the “can you move the flour without moving the candy on top of it” games.

Easter is an important holiday in the German-speaking regions, and at ASC we tried our best to celebrate it accordingly. A group of students traveled to the Village Corner Restaurant, a German restaurant in Stone Mountain, just east of Decatur. We sampled their Bratwurst variations and–of course–the dessert section.
