ASC German Club, Hillel Organize Holocaust Lecture

The Agnes Scott German (Faust) Club and ASC Hillel have teamed up to organize a lecture by a Holocaust survivor on March 22. See the flyer below for details and spread the information widely:

“Deutsch in meiner Seele”

Such is the slogan of some great T-Shirts designed by the Faust Club.

The head in the photo below the slogan belongs to Marlene Dietrich, the German movie star of the 1930s, who became famous for her roles as modern woman in films such as Der Blaue Engel (1931). Marlene Dietrich left Germany after the Nazis had moved into power and became equally famous in the United States, where she played in films such as Billy Wilder’s A Foreign Affair (1948).
